We invite submissions of abstracts for presentations at the upcoming Life Science Symposium, which will be held in November 2024 in Rennes, France.
The symposium will focus on three research axes that are still to be defined.
We encourage researchers whose work aligns with these themes to submit their abstracts for consideration.
To foster a diverse and inclusive scientific environment, we kindly request that all presentations be accessible and sufficiently popularized. As participants from various biological and bioinformatics fields will be in attendance, we encourage presenters to make their research understandable to a broad audience. This will allow for meaningful discussions and knowledge exchange between participants from different backgrounds.
Abstract submissions should clearly indicate the research thematic axis they correspond to and provide a concise summary of the work to be presented. We encourage authors to highlight the relevance of their research, the methods employed, and the key findings or implications of their study.
As this symposium aim to promote research and create a scientific network between young researchers, we will favour the contributions from them, i.e. PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.
Concerning your submission, please adhere to the following guidelines for abstract submissions:
- Abstracts should not exceed 300 words and written in english.
- Clearly state the chosen research thematic axis.
- Emphasize the accessibility and popularization of the presentation.
- Include a brief description of the research question, methods, and key findings.
- Provide sufficient context to engage a multidisciplinary audience.
Selected abstracts will have the opportunity to be presented either as short talks or posters during the symposium. We look forward to receiving your submissions and promoting vibrant scientific discussions at the IGDR Symposium.
